Automotive radar is an assistance system installed in a car that alerts the driver:
1. It includes a variety of different radars based on different technologies (such as laser, ultrasonic, microwave).
2. It has different functions (such as detecting obstacles, predicting collisions, adaptive cruise control), and uses different working principles (such as pulse radar, frequency modulated continuous wave radar, microwave impact radar).
The reversing radar system consists of a reversing radar ECU, a reversing radar buzzer, and several (usually four) reversing radar sensors mounted on the (rear) bumper.
Automotive radar can be divided into laser, ultrasonic, microwave and other different radars, based on different working principles, automotive radar can be divided into pulse radar, FMCW radar, microwave impact radar, etc.
